The film received generally negative reviews from critics many criticizing its depiction of gun violence in comparison to then-recent mass shootings, claiming it as spreading "right-wing" and "pro-gun" messages, with Roth denying said claims. Mark Goldblatt served as editor in post-production, while the score was composed by Ludwig Göransson.ĭeath Wish was released in the United States by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer on March 2, 2018, and underperformed at the box office, only grossing $49.6 million worldwide against a $30 million budget. Roth joined as director in 2016, with filming taking place in Chicago that same year with director of photography Rogier Stoffers. Carnahan was announced to write and direct after in 2012, but later dropped out too, although was given sole screenwriting credit despite his script being rewritten numerous times since. The film stars Bruce Willis as Paul Kersey, a Chicago doctor who sets out to get revenge on the men who attacked his family. It is a remake of the 1974 film of the same name (which originated the Death Wish franchise), based on Brian Garfield's 1972 novel. Too bad, since you're left behind with the feeling they could have done something better with this.Death Wish is a 2018 American vigilante action thriller film directed by Eli Roth and written by Joe Carnahan. The first (long-awaited?) cinema adventure of everybody's favorite cat appears to be a quickly produced and unprofessional flick soon to be forgotten. Breckin Meyer (as Jon Arbuckle) and Jennifer Love Hewitt (as the yummy vet Liz) walk around without anything to do and Bill Murray voices Garfield like it's some sort of dire job he wants to get rid of asap. #GARFIELD O FILME TORRENT TV#The plot is standard-sentiment, with Garfield saving his new housemate puppy from a sneaky, fame-chasing TV host. The computer engineered Garfield doesn't appeal and the other, real pets are badly chosen. Garfield's clever and sarcastic remarks, Jon's clumsy womanizing techniques All this has been replaced with an unhealthy dose of feel-good messages and lame jokes. #GARFIELD O FILME TORRENT MOVIE#The movie totally lacks all the elements that make the comics so entertaining. I have no problem with a movie being pro-children, but this is exaggerated and hardly accessible for adult viewers. And yet, the film completely aims for a youthful audience. On the contrary, most of the dry humor and charismatic Garfield poses are difficult to 'get' for young children. All the years I've been a loyal reader of the Garfield comics, I never had the impression it's merely meant for kids.
